I have gone through many setups and many ups and downs with my car. A real love hate relationship lol. If I had to recommend one setup out of all for anyone here it would be my setup at 361hp. Headers, up pipe, down pipe, turbo back and tune. By far the best my car had to offer all around. My new plans for when I take my car out of storage is to remove ecutek and Lachutes tune and re-tune the car with a cob pro-tune. That’s going to be done as soon as I get her out of storage. Reason Im not making any other changes right away are to see what the difference is from one tune to another. After that, I’m going to go with a rotated turbo and front mount intercooler. That’s it for now. I’ll keep you posted.

I wouldnt be to worried about it thought. The first generation always as it's weaknesses. Im confident that they worked all of them out. Yours will be just fine

Thanks for the links bro! I'm going to pass by the dealer tomorrow to see if they are installing the protective film on the 09's. If not Ill just pay to get it done.

You will love your car. Congrat.

Put wide mud flaps like Rally armor or better, Dahu armor.
This will prevent having stones thrown by the front whell to the rear side panel.

It also prevent some dirt to get to the lower part of the car, on the side. This is a nonsense that subaru dealer don't put these on every new sti.

yup it's official. This is what I want my front end to look like. I think the stock STI grill is disgusting!

If anyone knows where I can get it, please let me know. I want to order it right away.

You can get the sport grill straight at the dealership.

They sell it like 300$ but you can get it half price if you can talk to the right people.

Well, I saw the protective film on the red 09 STI when I went to the Montreal auto show earlier this week.
